Vidon Thailand was a sponsor of the French Thai Chamber of Commerce (FTCC) Joint Chambers Breakfast Talk “Leveraging the ASEAN Economic Community for Greater Growth and Development” held in Bangkok on July 10th, 2014.
This debate brought together the legal and business communities seeking to share experiences on how to successfully establish a business in ASEAN (i.e. Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam) as well as exchange best practices when it comes to protect and expand operations in the region.
On this occasion, Noémie Sancelme from our Thai Office (also acting as the Chair of the Legal Committee of the FTCC) discussed the steps to be taken to protect its IP assets in Asia, insisting on the need to have a proactive Intellectual Property strategy before even entering the market.
