Biography

Cécile is a Patent Attorney and graduate of the Ecole Nationale de Physique de Strasbourg. She also has a Master’s degree in Optics and Photonics, a PhD in physics and a Master’s degree in business law from the University Paris I Sorbonne.
She worked for 10 years as a research engineer in the corporate research laboratory of Thomson-CSF (which later became Thales) and for nine years as IP Manager of a start-up, Nemoptic.
Cécile joined the office in 2011. She is responsible for a number of clients and handles the patent applications drafting as well as the examination procedures in the different offices. She has also carried out patentability and freedom-to-operate cases and regularly provides training to Atout PI Laplace clients in the field of industrial property. During her long career in industry, Cécile has been involved in all stages of the innovation process, from the generation of inventions to the patents filing, and then to their valorisation.
